Gasteria is a slow-growing plant that can tolerate lower light conditions, although it will do better in bright light—just avoid direct sun. White or yellow leaves may be a sign of too much sun exposure. These succulents don’t require much water; let the soil dry out completely between waterings (always check with your finger before watering). Gasteria plants are delicate and can bruise easily, so handle them gently. A succulent/cactus soil mix is best for Gasteria.
